Nuka Chalet is operated by Balada Art Design SRL, Str. Păstrăvăriei, Poiana Mărului 327439, Caraș-Severin, Romania, the controller of the personal data collected through this website. You can contact us at host@nukachalet.ro or on WhatsApp at +40 721 273 535.

When you book on this website we collect:

• first and last name, email, phone, address (country, county, city, street);
• the personal ID number (CNP, for Romanian individuals) — required for invoicing and for the legally required guest register;
• for companies: company name, tax ID, trade register number and registered address;
• stay details (chalet, dates, number of guests), special requests and payment options;
• your consent to marketing communications, only if you tick it.

When you contact us on WhatsApp or by phone, we only use the data you send us. Bookings made through Airbnb or other platforms are governed by those platforms' policies.

We use your data to manage your booking (legal basis: performance of a contract), for invoicing and the guest register (legal basis: legal obligation) and, only with your consent, for offers by email or SMS (you can withdraw your consent at any time). We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing.

Your data can only be accessed by the host, through a password-protected admin area. It is stored with our technical providers (website hosting and database), under GDPR-compliant agreements. For payments, card details are processed exclusively by the payment processor, never by us.

Booking data is kept for as long as needed for your stay and then as required by law (accounting records — 5 years). Marketing data is kept until you withdraw your consent.

Under the GDPR you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. To exercise them, email host@nukachalet.ro. You may also lodge a complaint with the Romanian data protection authority, ANSPDCP (www.dataprotection.ro).

This website does not use marketing or tracking cookies. During booking, the details you enter are kept temporarily in your browser (sessionStorage) so you don't lose them when going back a step; they are deleted when you close the tab. External content (such as Google Maps) may set its own cookies only if you open it.
